The Survey Initiative wins major contract with Scania
The Survey Initiative has been appointed to work with Scania (Great Britain) Limited – a major supplier to British industry of trucks, buses and marine engines – to analyse employee engagement.
Scania (Great Britain) Limited has decided to analyse the levels of employee engagement in its 1400 employees which are spread across over 40 sites throughout the UK. The company intends to understand what employees believe is good about working for Scania as well as what they can do better.
Sarah Taylor, Head of Human Resources , explains: “An employee survey is a great way of gathering the views of employees from Inverness to Redruth on a range of topics. Employees already have the chance to make their views known via employee forums and various other channels, but the survey will help us to spot overall trends and to understand which issues are of most importance to our employees.”
She continued: “It’s not all about focussing on the negatives if we can understand what we do right and find areas of good practice, then we can consider what lessons can be learnt and applied in our other sites.”
Scania (Great Britain) Limited decided to work with The Survey Initiative because they were impressed with the staff survey provider’s knowledge and experience of employee engagement and the survey process, plus they offered a high level of professionalism and flexibility in their approach to rolling out the survey.
Sarah, says: “The Survey Initiative understood that ‘one size doesn’t fit all’ and that they needed to understand our company to deliver a truly personalised project.”
The Survey Initiative has been running bespoke staff surveys for seven years and is experienced at working with multinationals and SMEs to help them achieve high levels of employee engagement.
Gary Cattermole, Director, The Survey Initiative, adds: “We create employee engagement surveys to meet our clients’ needs. We’re very experienced at managing staff surveys in multiple locations and are looking forward to helping Scania identify areas where engagement levels are high and where they might need to concentrate their efforts to further improve engagement.”
