A Year of Growth and Learning

As we approach the end of the year, it feels like the perfect moment to look back at everything we’ve packed in. At TSI, we spend most of our time helping organisations understand and engage their people – so it’s only right that we invest in our own team! This year has been a memorable one. Alongside developments in our services, we made time to come together, learn, unwind, and celebrate the work we’re proud of.

A Year Marked by Progress

2025 has been another good year for us. We launched our new website, which is performing well and has given us a number of new enquiries and clients; we’ve expanded our Member Survey offering, and we’ve welcomed new team members, strengthening our capacity and adding fresh perspectives to the work we do.

Personal development has been another strong thread throughout the year. Several members of the team have taken on new learning, including Dec, who has been deepening his expertise in research strategy, and Nick, who has been focussing on management consulting. This continued investment helps us support clients with confidence, and ensures our thinking stays sharp.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been improving our reporting platform, and it’s due for release in the New Year. It’s now updated, streamlined, and fully optimised for an improved user experience. Designed with HR leaders in mind, the platform features a fresh, intuitive layout that makes navigating and comparing reports easier than ever. We’ve integrated AI to deliver dynamic insights and actionable plans, helping organisations move from data to decisions quickly. A new data exploration tool allows clients to slice and dice responses on demand, providing instant breakdowns by demographics and departmental groups. Together, these enhancements mean clearer, faster, and more actionable insight – something we’re all excited to bring to clients.

Amid these milestones, our team days have helped keep us connected and energised.

Team Days

We kicked off the year with a month-long wellbeing challenge, encouraging the team to focus on fitness, nutrition, mental wellness, and healthy habits. Points are given for various daily achievements – Nick won overall with 408 points followed by Jaime with 379! Next was kart racing which gave everyone the chance to switch off and enjoy a bit of speed. There were plenty of laughs, a few surprising overtakes, spectacular crashes and some enthusiastic post-race analysis. Gary won, but special mention should go to Em who came from last on the grid to second place!

Other team days were less about competition and more about socialising. After one of our strategy meetings, we went out for pizza at a local eatery, savouring good food and laughter. On another occasion, it started with light bites but ended up being all about cake – including a Snickers tart packed with huge chunks of the stuff!!

We also used one of our team days to do some group learning and development, strengthening our customer service skills. The session sparked useful discussions and helped us refine how we support and guide the organisations we work with every day.

Looking Ahead

Next year marks a major milestone for The Survey Initiative – our 20th year in business. After two decades of helping organisations understand and engage their people, we’re excited for what the next chapter holds. Most importantly, we’ll continue building on the values that have brought us here – staying expert and inquisitive in our approach, collaborative in how we work, innovative in how we evolve, and ethical in every decision we make – all to deliver insight that drives meaningful change.
