Impact, Innovate and Grow – how are we doing?
As each New Year begins; one feels the need to review the year just gone and then look to changes for the future. It’s the same in business. Over the last few January’s we have reviewed our progress against our three word theme. Which we originally posted here in January 2012. Do You Have a Three Word Theme For Your Work in 2012? We thought a good way to start the New Year would be to review how we have performed against these themes.
After much discussion the team agreed upon Impact, Innovate and Grow as the set of key indicators for 2012 and retained these for 2013. The intention is to use to them to help set the direction of the business, inform our decision making, focus our marketing strategy and evaluate each project’s success.
Impact
In 2013, we were lucky to work on a number of exciting new projects where we were able to work closely with the client post survey to help understand the results and make an impact by helping plan actions and change. Our aim with all our projects continues to be the creation of actionable outputs that have a positive impact on an organisation and its’ employees. And where we are able to further help investigate the issues or assist with planning and implementing change we feel honoured to do so.
Innovate
During 2013, we expanded our reporting capabilities, with the development of online interrogation tools for our clients. We introduced new ways to examine and explain the employee net promoter score to our clients. We continue to be inspired by the launch of the Engage for Success movement and are keen to share our expertise with others and continue to use the evidence to support our clients in their efforts to engage employees.
Grow
As a company, we have continued to grow both in the number of projects we deliver, our client base and also our team working to deliver for our clients. 2013 saw the addition of three new team members; Jackie, Katherine and Alison. We were successfully able to support our environmental growth aims buying a record number of beautiful trees from the Woodland Trust for every new contract we won. We plan to continue to support the Woodland Trust throughout this coming year.
For 2014, we plan to innovate by enhancing our use of social media for communicating with clients, providing research outputs and researching engagement.
