Working WellIn today’s fast-paced and demanding work environment, promoting the health and wellbeing of employees is crucial for both their personal wellness and the success of organisations. Recognising this need, the Essex Wellbeing Service has established Working Well, a program dedicated to providing free workplace health and wellbeing support to businesses in Essex.

We are thrilled to announce that we have obtained Essex Working Well accreditation! This accreditation is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the health and wellbeing of our people. It allows us to build, maintain, and evidence a robust workplace wellbeing strategy and program, ensuring that our team members feel supported and valued every step of the way. By obtaining this accreditation, we are opening the doors to a range of valuable benefits that will further enhance our employees’ wellbeing.

Working Well Benefits

  • Up to two mental health first-aider training places: The training equips individuals with the skills to identify and support those experiencing mental health issues.
  • Regular meetings with Working Well Specialists: These meetings provide ongoing support and guidance in implementing effective health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Bespoke manager training: Managers play a crucial role in fostering a healthy work environment. The Working Well program offers tailored training to equip managers with the knowledge and skills to support their teams’ wellbeing.
  • Online health and wellbeing courses: Access to a variety of online courses covering topics such as stress management, nutrition, and exercise, enabling employees to enhance their overall wellbeing.

As a business, we strive to create a healthy and supportive work environment and programs like Working Well play a vital role in promoting employee health and wellbeing. Through the Working Well Accreditation, we are able to access the resources and support required to prioritise the wellbeing of our people.
